In December 2021, UNESCO approved inclusion of the Nordic clinker boat traditions on its list of intangible cultural heritage. This was marked last week with a two-day seminar in Roskilde, where the Viking Ship Museum and Forbundet KYSTEN coastal federation were among the organisers. The Oselvar workshop participated with two representatives, and we finally had the opportunity to join a sailing trip with two of the Oselvar boats that we delivered to the Viking Ship Museum 25 years ago.
