On Monday 7 November, we launched the major initiative that we have been working on for the past year. This is a virtual boat building workshop where you can try your hand at various tasks within the art of boat building.
The photograph shows Ragnhild from Bjørnafjorden municipality using a wedge to split a pine log. For now, you can only try the game at the Oselvar workshop, but in the long run you will have the opportunity to play anywhere in the world.
The project has been developed by digital agency Picapoint, in close collaboration with the boat builders. The development of the game is supported by the Arts Council Norway and a number of local sponsors.
